This is not necessarily the case. This assumes that such a tax would be 
additive. If it were revenue neutral (i.e., you change what you tax, not 
how much you tax), it isn't at all clear that wages would necessarily 
increase. If you think about it for a minute, it is entirely likely that 
a revenue neutral implementation would actually *reduce* the costs of 
human labor.
