[SGVLUG] Eee PC by Asus - reading great press on it

My only 'gripe' (that I can come up with by simply looking at the pics) 
is that the speakers consume too much real estate and leave little room 
for the screen/display, which makes it look like a really old thinkpad 
or fujitsu-style notebook from 10+ years ago.

Other than that, it seems like a great deal... $299 @ newegg.com.

Does anyone know which Linux distro it comes with? or is it some vanilla 
Asus-hacked distro?
