[SGVLUG] OT: MS notebook HD died/errors need to get MS OS CD

Hi,

One of my associates had a HD error/failure
on their notebook, and wanted to recover.

This means I will probably end up attempting
to get the media from the vendor...

Q: What have been your experiences with
getting replacement media of MS OSes from
the vendor?
