Yep. I always do. I have done a number of recordings and posted them at
http://casts.socallugs.com. All with appropriate permissions obtained. :)

Yes. They do. However its generally not a big deal.

Well I suppose if we get anyone to the group that goes to that level to
"protect" the material we probably have other things to worry about.
All of the presentations/presenters I have hosted or attended, have been
more then happy to have the presentation recorded. Especially the guys
from corporations (ie sales engineers etc). Its free publicity for them.

Well one should always strive to be professional when giving a formal
presentation regardless of the presence of recording devices or lack
thereof. :)
