The .577 T-Rex can have a muzzle energy of upto
11330 ft lb (depends on the round..)

dang!!! that's close to the 50 BMG
12550 ft. lbs

with such a rifle in a classic bolt action/break
open package, none of the internals take up any
of the energy! OUCH! (vs a semi-automatic, where
the bolt and spring would consume some of the
kick back/recoil energy.)

lol, it doesnt have a muzzle break either...

imho, that's more gun than most people I
know want to shoot!
