Good point -- no, it doesn't, but I have the machine at my house where I
have a USB DVD drive (and actually, the computer is/should-be well
capable of "the latest" Microsoft offering, well, maybe not Vista, but
everything else)  The case is actually the mini-ATX case that looks like
a cube -- approx 8" wide x 7" tall, and maybe a foot long, so I know it
should have at least a 1ghz processor, maybe more.  Don't know the
memory config yet, but I'd imagine at least 512.

That is what I figured, and why I'm considering the DVD version (should
have "most everything" that I'd likely put on this machine for her)
Once installed, I think I can copy the DVD .iso image to a file and
semi-permanently "mount" it (via loopback) so it is "always" available
in case I missed something
