FREE E-WASTE DISPOSAL EVENT AT COMPUSA IN MONROVIA



On Saturday, April 28th, between the hours of 10am and 3pm, at
CompUSA, located at 745 W. Huntington Dr., Monrovia, CA 91016,
consumers can drop off their obsolete electronics for Free.



Acceptable items include all forms of office and home electronics such
as; monitors and televisions, computers, printers, copiers, fax
machines, scanners, phone systems, cell  phones, DVD players, stereos
etc. No microwave or toaster ovens, vacuum cleaners, fluorescent
lights, heaters, or liquid hazardous waste will be accepted.
Consumers can simply pull up to the ease e-waste, truck in the faculty
parking lot and uniformed personnel will unload their vehicles for
them.



As a public service CompUSA and ease e-waste, have conducted a series
of such events throughout Southern California thus far and have
collected over a million pounds of toxic e-waste which has been
disposed of responsibly and in compliance with new laws in California
regulating the handling of electronic waste.
