thanks michael..what do i need to bring to the meeting this saturday.

do i need to bring my entire pc with my monitor keyboard mouse
etc...everything.

can you give me the exact location and parking information
=====================================

Yes, you should bring "everything" -- the library does not provide
monitors or anything else. You would only need a mouse if you intend to
use X windows -- for what you are interested in, however, access to the
command line (start mode 3 instead of 5, or is it the other way around?)
should be sufficient. While some folks do bring (extra) power strips,
don't count on it (and besides, they may want to leave before you...)
There are essentially only TWO outlets in the room (that we've found)
and only 1 of them is easily accessible. [There may be other outlets,
we just haven't looked all that hard...]

Parking: for La Pintoresca is on the SIDE of the library on Raymond --
go to the map page I posted previously, drag the map so the "pointer" in
the upper left is near the center of the screen, switch to "satellite"
view, and zoom in as far as possible -- the parking lot [all 8 spaces]
will be rather evident. [of course, you may wish to park on the street
(Raymond), however the lot will be most convenient if you have to carry
anything heavy, like a CPU...] Note that the "empty" spot in the
satellite photo is the handicap parking spot...

[if you have a GPS, set your target for lat -118.1493, long 34.1694 and
you should be good to go...]
