Sure, why not? It boosts our membership numbers, which will be
important in the allocation of political power, cabinet positions, and
general graft after the revolution.

Create a PGP key on a trusted machine, bring a copy of the fingerprint
and some gubmint ID, and get it signed by the LUG key at the meeting.

If that ain't good enough, I could generate a GPG patch that changes the
name it prints from "GNUPG" to "SGVLUG Sekrit Decoder Ring." Then
everybody who applies the patch to their system GPG has a gen-u-wine LUG
decoder ring that *really* works. :-)
Anyone a graphic artist? We should print up a fake Linux cereal box
that says "free GPG decoder ring inside."

It's not a bad idea. It could even generate money that we wouldn't have
the slightest idea what to do with. :-)
