[SGVLUG] Diagramming software

I know it's Windows, but latest (2003) MS Visio
(http://office.microsoft.com/visio) is pretty impressive. The
Enterprise Edition even does reverse engineering syncing an SQL or OOP
schema with the diagram, propagating changes in both directions. And
it's fully programmable in terms of its shapes (and their behaviors as
you drag them about). Maybe Visio could run in some Visio could run
under Linux in some Windows compatibility program as www.WineHQ.Com .
Anyway, I'd be curious what, if any, native Linux programs are
compatible, and be surprised if any could match it.
