Hi,
i)
Dustin - PLEASE ask people what's up with
their relationships with the various
hardware vendors.
It is really bad to have such problems
we are experiencing with hardware
driver support.
from:
wi-fi
sata drivers
video
network card
sound card
new MB chipset problems (intel, amd)
are there vendors we should be avoiding?
vendors we should be supporting more?
ii)
Here's the problem I've seen w/CD/DVD creator
1) Failure to handle a large number of files
(20k+)
2) Failure on the gui when one drags and drops
files to be copied, if the "right side"
(side which lists files to be copied) is "full",
it force you to put the dragged files into
a subfolder listed. IT FAILs to open a slot
which would allow you to keep the files in
the main directory.
3) Slow..
This stuff should work out of the box after
a full distro install (FC3 in this case.)
thanks
matti
