[SGVLUG] Backups and DVDs - what do you use/like?

I am using cdrecord from FC 5. you will first need to make a iso with 
mkisofs.

cdrecord -scanbus ## gives the scsi parms of the devices
cdrecord -prcap  ## gives the functioning capabilities of the device named
