> Yes, and actually the BIOS *IS* set for USB keyboard/storage [and in fact a separate setting for "USB mouse"] but the BIOS/bootup sequence still doesn't see the keyboard unless it is in the PS/2 socket.  I may have to write to the motherboard maker to find out if that setting is correct [maybe something was lost in the translation? nyahh -- that NEVER happens when it comes to computer manuals <sarcasm />]

Check if there is a setting that involves Legacy keyboard, as the bios
will map usb keyboard to the Legacy keyboard address so that things
like dos/lilo/grub that do not read from the hardware directly but
instead let the bios do the work for them.
