[though as this will be a "holiday weekend", we may not hold a meeting -- of course, without a location or topic, there won't be much of a meeting to hold anyway...]

Hi all,
I was wondering what level of presentations you all want to have at
SGVLUG? You are all much more experienced with Linux than I am and
don't want to bring the level of presentation below what the group would
like. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing some introductory Linux stuff.
It would be nice to see someone show some things like command line
tricks, working with the Gimp, nmap, system recovery with a live cd.
Orv Beach from SCLUG said he wouldn't mind coming down and doing a
presentation that he gave up there. I believe it was on command line or
BASH tricks. I'll send him an e-mail and ask his availability.
Another idea would be to do a series on Linux certifications. Maybe we
could get an LPI book from O'Reilly and take a look at a chapter or two
either in terms of what a SysAdm really would use at work or maybe focus
on someone actually wanting to certify.
That's just my two cents.
Jason
