OK, after sacrificing a speckled black goat to the dark and hideousj Gods
of Zope, I seem to have figured out how to give an account administrator
access. Further, after receiving some severe smack from Apache for being
so stupid as to not understand all of its directives (hmm, that felt real
familiar) I have even gotten Apache to act as a proxy for Zope, so it's
accessible to the outside world (yes, I could have taken the coward's way
out and uncovered port <mumble> in a fiftieth the time, but that wouldn't
have been sporting of me, would it?). Sooo...

You can now create accounts and beat on it (I think). The link is on the
main page. Try not to open up (or use) any root exploits while you're at
it <grin>. Oh, I don't know how to make Plone email me when accounts are
created, so it's even more important to remind me if I don't give you
administrator access (assuming I have some vague reason to give it to you,
such as you're in the lug and want it). Somebody please make all that
skull-pounding worth it. :-)

Seriously, this is without a doubt the most heavy-duty CMS I have
installed or will install, so at least get a taste of how the big boys
live. Maybe you'll like it....

For those still unpacking from their long vacation under a big rock, the
main 'test site' page is at
