Here are some suggestions for places to meet:

La Pintoresca library (or any other branch of the pasadena library system)
pros: [confirmed for la pintoresca only]
      -- projector
      -- internet access (wireless)
-- good sized room / external access (so as not to bother patrons)
  cons:
-- only one outlet(?) [one /easily accessible/ outlet -- there may be others, we've never really looked/found one -- I think there is one other on the far wall, but behind a table...]
      -- scheduling can be difficult

Wild Oats near lake/california
note: I haven't actually been here, so this is based on what I remember being told
  pros: internet access (wireless)
  cons: no projector

Zephyr coffee house 2419 E. Colorado Blvd. (between sierra madre and altadena)
pros: comfortable seating {think "living room décor")
        outlets may be hit-or-miss
        food service (!)
cons: they also book "entertainment" for the evenings (bands); they may play indoors or out; they may be loud or not...
no (wireless) internet (that I could detect)
largest "comfortable" group area my be 8-10 people
no projector nor any convenient place to use one [well, perhaps one room could accommodate -- I've only been there once and didn't explore the whole place...]

Jason also mentioned the Methodist hospital, I believe -- I don't have any info on that

Any other locations to consider?
